Programming

Posted by Les  Published in Larson Computer Services

Programming… without those services our computers would just be fancy paperweights. Not everyone who “programs” is a decent programmer, just as everyone who drives isn’t necessarily a good driver (hey, you know who you are…). To be a really good programmer, you have to be a good listener and have an excellent sense of logic (“how to get from A to B, without wrecking C along the way”).

As most of you have experienced, the reality is that very few people in the tech industry have good people skills. Listening is just too far down on their list of  priorities.

At Larson Computer Services, we listen. A lot. And we ask a lot of questions, leaving little or nothing to assumption. If you need programming services, we can deliver a finished, reliable product that works the way YOU want it to work, and I personally guarantee that you won’t feel like you’re “wrestling with a nerd” the whole way.

Larson Computer Services offers programming services in two broad areas:

1) Programs that run on your local computer, which may or may not be networked, and

2) Programs that run on the Internet, e.g. website functionality that goes beyond static html.

Local programs generally use Microsoft technologies, such as VB.Net, VBScript, SQL Server, etc.

Website projects use ASP.Net, PHP, Perl, Javascript, mySQL, SQL Server, XML, etc.

(Again, these are very broad descriptions. Almost anything you can imagine can be done)

Need something done right? Give us a call at 701-837-6202, and tell us what you have in mind.

You won’t be disappointed.
